Tine Klint, CEO and Founder of LevelK (2009), dedicated the majority of her professional life to independent cinema with 20+ years’ experience across international sales, finance and aggregation.
Maria Tanjala is a former producer, now co-founder of FilmChain, transforming how film and TV producers, sales agents, and financiers get paid. A digital collection agent (CAM) for independents and a royalties management solution for content distributors, FilmChain brings transparency and modernises payments. Clients include Protagonist, Hanway, UTA, WME, HBO, BFI, Film i Vast, FFA, etc. She's been mentoring about recoupments and technologies at Inside Pictures, ACE Network, Erich Pommer Institut, Cannes Producers Network, EFM Horizon, etc. Awards include ‘Startup of the Year’ London Business Awards, SXSW Content and Entertainment, San Sebastian Film Festival, Makers and Shakers, etc.
Fabian Massah’s works, as a producer and partner at Berlin-based Endorphine Production, include a number of feature films that premiered in Venice, Berlin & Toronto, and that have been marketed and released internationally. His company has moved into producing series as well, with projects being invited to markets such as the Séries Mania Forum in Lille. For more than 20 years, he has also been working as a producer for corporate & advertisement films.
The host Scott Roxborough is the European Bureau Chief of leading film and television industry magazine The Hollywood Reporter, reporting from Germany for the world on the business of global entertainment. Canadian-born, German-based, he is regular producer for and commentator on German TV, and a familiar face at international film festivals, television markets and industry events.
The Berlinale’s European Film Market is the first international film market of the year, where the film industry starts its business. Industry Insights - The EFM Podcast puts a spotlight on highly topical and trendsetting industry issues, thereby creating a compass for the forthcoming film year.
